Find Your Niche
The range of saleable products ranges from pet rocks to mansions.
For every product there is a group of customers looking to buy.
The internet is the most wonderful media for reaching customers of all kinds.
Many people wish they could just invent something to sell and become rich.
How many times have you said, or heard someone say... "I don't know why I didn't think of that" ,when they see someone make a bundle on some simple item.
The following are ways to develop your niche product:
1. Look at the market place. See what people are buying. See what's being heavily advertised. (Successful sellers will be advertising repeatedy) Nearly every successful existing market can be broken down into more specific specialty niche markets. (Look at how many many products are just improvements on some other product)
2. Think about your own personal experiences. What skills do you possess that enable you to help others. Are you a good mechanic? Are you a woodworker? Could you put some of your tips in writing... an ebook ...an ezine or a monthly "tip" letter?
3. Is there a need that's not being met? A problem that needs to be solved? Have you found a simple solution to a problem you've encountered? There are millions of people just like you who encounter the same problems. Guess what? They go to the internet to find the solutions... and the internet reaches all of them. (How convenient for the seller!)
Information is one of the hottest commodities around.
Everyone is looking for a better way to cook, garden, lose weight, save on mechanic bills, repair their homes, live healthier lives.
